On 10/10/10 there will be a concert at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh. It will consist of Holst's Planet Suite, performed by the Houston Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by NASA images displayed on a 24 foot screen.
There is a rumour (unconfirmed) that the organisers have asked astronauts to attend. It's a gala opening concert for the refurbishment anyway, so it will hopefully be a good event. Paul & I have booked seats, and they're going fast.
