Fairmont Hotel March 31st Earth Hour

Postby Cosmic » 29 Feb 2012, 10:38

Hi all
as discussed at last nights' packed meeting. All persons wishing to volunteer their services on this day please reply to this post. If you are not an experienced astronomer please don't let that put you off. We need persons willing to give a lift to those who do not have transport as well as anyone willing to assist in marshalling or other duties on the day. It promises to be a wonderful opportunity for our club and will only enhance our reputation. More details to follow soon so just for now express your intention to help out

Cheers
Geoff (Publicity Officer DBASTRO)

Hi Geoff,

I'd love to help out. I'm happy to organise some kids activities (workshop, drop in session,...).

Cheers,

Hi,

Yes myself and Sandy would love to come along too. We will be driving up so can provide a lift for one or two.

Should be ok for that, but I'll confirm nearer the time - I may be working in the morning/early afternoon.

Count me in too please! :D

Can offer up to 4 for a lift, with good cargo space; or 1-2 lifts and lots more space for gear.

Are we having some sort of "co-ordination" meeting or get-together to work out the logistics?
