Sky At Night TV Programme to be axed?

Postby Darren Henderson » 27 Sep 2013, 16:12

Hi,
It looks like the BBC is to review The Sky At Night with the possibility of it finishing. There is an on-line petition if anyone wants to sign it, the link is below.

Regards,

Darren.

Utter sacrilege if this should come about.

Sir Patrick may be gone, but decent non-whipped-up-into-a-frenzy science programmes are essential - the BBC don't need any more "dumbing down" of quality programming (to pay for even-more short-lived senior managements pay-off's and bonuses?)

But putting SkyAtNight on deep into the night after hours of low-audience filler and tired film repeats can't be helping.

Lord Reith will be burling in his grave! Its OUR BBC - viewers & listeners SHOULD be able to have "good influence".

Petition duly signed (over 32,000 signatures now)
