Quick borrow of some PLANISPHERES on MONDAY please?

Postby Alderney99 » 08 May 2016, 16:27

In this age of "doing it all on one's phone", there are exceptions...!

Primary 2 children at Inverkeithing this week will being doing "the Stars" - could anyone going to the Kabin on Monday
for the Mercury Transit event possibly bring along any size of good old-fashioned planisphere that they might have still lying
around, for the youngsters to borrow for several days please?

Any large posters/maps of constellations / "obvious" star photography would also be a big help.

All would be returned at the next Club night (hopefully not mangled too much...)
Any help MUCH appreciated :)

Thanks!

Not exactly a planisphere, but I've a gizmo that does a similar job. I'll bring it along.
