Astronomy Apps for Sony Xperia mobiles?

Postby Alderney99 » 24 Oct 2013, 11:33

Having finally binned my battered & duff but simple old mobile in favour of a shiny new Sony Xperia M smartphone,
can anyone recommend any particular Astronomy App(lication(s) for us auld folk... ) that they know works
OK on Sony Xperia series models, or indeed Android-based phone Op Sys generally? (running 4.1 Jelly Bean).

Thanks!

Planets is my favourite app by far, it is so useful for the solar system, milky way and constellations.ISS detector is also very good and works perfect. Both are free so get downloading :D

I use Sky Safari Pro - it's not free but I think it's well worth paying for.
Let me know if you want to give it a try on my phone before you part with your readies.

I also have the free version of SkEye.
