Postby pbholmes » 17 Jun 2015, 22:10

If you are interested in helping, setup begins at the Dreel Halls, High Street West, from 11:30 onwards.

I'll be carrying some gear (gazebo etc), but can take 1 passenger if anyone needs a lift - Private Message me via the forum, or email (its on the club list)

Iain J

Edit - A QUICK THOUGHT - knowing how busy it can get at "Ainster" on a summer Sunday, I don't suppose the event organisers at Anstruther might
have thought of getting us some kind of Parking Passes or car window signs or "reserved area" to allow us to park/setup/etc?

and... are we setting up the gazebo "in the graveyard" at the Dreel Halls (High Street West) ?

I would be interested in coming & bringing some telescopes too.
If you could let us know about parking etc.

Darren.

Information from Geoff:

We are setting up in the church yard of beside the Dreel Halls. The road has a double yellow line, but that means you can unload, and then park elsewhere. The best place to park would probably be at the far end of the Esplanade, which is just round the corner. It's free and usually has spaces.

I'll meet you at the hall at 11:30. We don't get into the hall until 12:00 but that should not affect you - unless you need power?

Thanks for Geoff's info Paul

In general, I haven't seen email traffic apart from the basic information, but for clarity though I now have
the gazebo and its kit from Paul plus his table; I may be able to bring the second table (maybe...).
Plus I have a couple of camping seats.

I don't who else is taking what else?

I still have one lift space if needbe. :D

Iain J
