Touch Primary School

Postby Cosmic » 05 Dec 2012, 16:21

Hello all, I went to the school today and had final discussions. The main Hall will be laid out for 100 plus as this is the expected number. We should arrive ideally by 5.00pm to set up as the event will start at 1800 sharp. Proposed itinerary: 1800 stargazing outside till 18:30 then inside for 2 lectures and presentations and then outside for more stargazing. The event will last approx 1.5 hours.

Please do your best to attend as the numbers will be too much for one person to cope with.
Cheers
Geoff

Hi, Sandy and I will be there but due to working in Edinburgh won't be able to make 5pm, though we'll try to be there in enough time to set up for 6pm. Failing that the kids will get a good idea of how to quickly set up a scope!

Enjoyed the evening at Touch. It was a clear night and Club members handled Primary pupils very well. ( considering there was some screaming with excitement ) Diane G

There are a couple of good photographs and a short write up in this week's Dunfermline Press, (20th December issue, page 16).

I missed the article in the Dunfermline Press just wondered if anyone saved it and could bring it along to January's club meeting at the Kabin?
