Mars first pic

After Petes excellent lecture on the surface details of mars I decided I needed to get some pics of the red planet.Through a telescope it is just a red glowing blob at the moment but you can still make out the polar ice cap :D The pic was taken at 6 in the morning when Mars was pretty high in the sky with the DSLR. The video was stacked in Registax.

Thanks for the comments guys,mars is my favourite planet :D Maybe one day I will be able to see Olympus Mons in a photo.Just need to save up enough money to buy the hubble space telescope when they retire it and I'm sorted :wink:
