Ring Nebula the other night

Postby Opel star » 14 Jun 2013, 01:24

Got a couple of pics of the Ring Nebula in Lyra the other night :D they are single frames with a couple of second exposures with 6400 iso because my mount wasn't aligned but I am still happy to get them.it is 2283 light years away and it is the remains of a red giant star that has exploded :D There might be a small white dwarf star still in there :?:
