M33 Pinwheel Galaxy

Imaged last night from our light polluted skies here under the great Tesco Nebulosity :)

That is superb quality Geoff!

PS - we were all at the dark site on Tuesday - see the "October 18th" post - good views of Jupiter and moons particularly.

Thanks, sorry to have missed the dark site but as you know we can't come to any more meetings on 3rd tuesday so it looks like the forum will be our only contact from now on. That is unless we goto the dark site some evening other than club nigh.

Wasn't there a suggestion a while back about potential Friday Saturday or Sunday night "dark site meets" if there were good seeing conditions forecast, with some kind of "meet-alert" email or phone-text etc setup? (e.g. as intended with the Messier challenge).

Maybe a topic for disussion at next Tuesday's committee meeting?
