1 week to go! :D .The visit starts at 7pm on Wednesday 16th April. It is at the Royal Observatory, Blackford hill, Edinburgh, EH93HJ.At the moment there are about 10 people going so it makes sense to car share. If you want a lift through we could all meet up at the park and ride carpark at ferry toll in Inverkeithing and leave some of the cars there and leave at 6pm,(parking is free)open to suggestions for a better spot or if you don't have a car and need picked up from your house that can be arranged .

With TWO Threads now running in parallel for the same topic, and the original one sliding away out of sight
down the page, can we all use THIS one from now on to arrange lifts or discuss it?

Good idea about using the park & ride or some other common (and secure/safe) "meet point" for leaving
the cars and consolidating them into a small convoy :D

6pm at the park & ride is ok.
Could we all meet outside the waiting room since cars maybe parked in different locations?
Regards,
Darren.

Thats a good idea to meet outside the waiting room.We can sort out what cars people are going to take on the night but I will be taking my 7 seater anyway.

Just a quick reminder that the trip to the observatory is tomorrow night (Wednesday 16th) we will be meeting in the park and ride car park at Inverkeithing and leaving for six to get to the observatory for 7. If you are wanting to come along there is plenty of room and the observatory staff have been more than helpful.
