From back garden :D I’m working with a picture of The Horse Head Nebula but tbh I struggle with it :idea:
I’m going to upload the current processing results here and I’ll try to explain what I mean.

Yep , the little one lol
Got also sessions with the Newtonian the guiding easy run 400s exposure with my 200mm F5 Newton so I went for just horse head and hart nebula. Still working with it

The Installation and configuration of PHD went some kind of intensive learning programme but ..........

TBH that frame, 2/2 (first was 10 min ...also great) surprised me a lot
It also opened far better spectrum of possibilities

Yes indeedy why not :) Any joy with the belt drive guy yet ? Bought an autoguider as an easy entry to guiding, one of these... https://www.firstlightoptics.com/guide-cameras/skywatcher-synguider-autoguider.html Quite fancied just a minimalist guiding solution then using the DSLR, the android tablet...

Hello Pete. That's what I do for now :mrgreen: Generally I could live with that but if there is a chance to improve.......then why not. It's nothing urgent at the moment and I think it'll be ok when the scope is guided. Need to do something to check how it works when guided and how to do the guiding...

Something new that I found about the mount. When setting off the backlash on RA I found that it's zero in one position but when mount is turned 180° there is some slag. The diagnose is that the RA worm ring is not well made and the centre hole for bearings is not perfectly cenetered with the worm ca...
