I've just downloaded this, and the amount of detail it gives is excellent.

Yes - the moon was just below and to the right of Venus on the evening of the 1st,
and above and to the right of Venus on the 2nd.

I finally got to the root of the problem. The default behaviour for Wordpress is to refresh feed caches every 12 hours. That can be overridden in a theme, but any such changes are lost every time the theme is updated. By creating a child theme, and overriding the default there, we should now have a ...

It does seem to be pretty slow in updating. I'll look into the documentation for the widget that's used, to see if it can be made to refresh more often, In the meantime, if a particular topic is important, you can subscribe to it - that way you get an email every time the topic gets an update.
