Firework bangs and a High Rocket? Seen from Dalgety Bay

Very fast high orange climbing light (rocket?)

20th January Meeting

Hi All,

Good to meet you all this evening. The AGM meeting certainly helped with getting to know your names :D

I was a little introverted this evening. Sorry about that, I enjoyed your company!

I look forward to a dark night meeting.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. The result I got was that it would focus OK, but only the very centre of the image was visible. Around that, it got darker, and most of the shot was black. I've read that this effect is called "vignetting". As a rough approximation, it happens w...

Astrophotographer with camera experience?

Hi, Been a little while since I've been on here. I gave up on astrophotography after a dark night in the garden getting annoyed with a tracking telescope, toucam webcam and laptop.   I recently spotted this: Link Was hoping this will work ok with my camera with the 52mm extending hood(not ...

Thank you for your advice. Would the ebay adapters be of lower quality?

Or does it really not matter. Annoyingly the nights are getting lighter. Thanks bhenderson50 for the offer of helping me out. Will try and get an adapter soon.

Managed to get my hands on a Toucam PRO 2. Need adapter!

Long time since posting. I managed to get my hands on a Philips Toucam Pro 2. It is in near mint condition but extremely smelly indeed! Some chemicals should sort it out. I need an adapter for my Meade ETX 80mm so I can use this webcam. (Astrophotography Newbie really) Can anyone recommend the best ...

Thank you for your replies. I have been trying to bid on UK toucams. 840k toucam pro 2 specifically. They sell high I tell you! I might try to get any CCD webcam which has a webcam adapter purposely designed for it. I very much dislike CMOS cameras after the nasty webcams/phones I have had in the pa...
