No telescope required - just binoculars or Mark I Eyeball - and if this summer haar keeps below about 50ft above sea level there's this chance to see the International Space Station at approx 10pm tomorrow

Good point
Have spotted iss last 3 nights, its so bright! In france!
www.heavens-above.com is a web site which you give you location and it will then give times of iss (brigter than jupiter) and other satellite and iridium flahses

Didn't get a chance to see ISS however, skies cleared nicely around midnight and cloudless where I am. Some great views of Jupiter and moons. Super view of M31 and around a dozen other satellite flyby's.
First night in ages that i have had a chance to use new scope.
I can't wait for the winter.....BRRRRRRRRRRR!

Another chance tonight 30th july
ISS will cross 10 deg above wsw and and depart 11 deg above sse however the duration is 4 minutes as opposed to 1 min last night and crossing begins approx 22:31. max elevation 20 deg.
So no excuses get looking hehehe

International space station will head overhead tonight at
28 Nov -0.9 17:31:00 10 SW 17:33:38 30 SSE 17:34:55 21 ESE
visible for just over 2 mins - the toolkit (£70,000) dropped by astronaut may also be visible....
i would say bag it... if you can lol
should come from bridges, heading towards edinburgh i fink
