my first moon picspretty naff using a cheapo digital camera held up to the lense thingy
took about 25 or so but too much lense flair or something so only bits of them look half decent.

Not bad for a first attempt.
Surprised you could see as well as that, given all the haze we've had recently.

Monday night going into Tuesday morning was pretty clear, I tried to take a normal photo of the sky but it didnt work out.
I was letting the dogs out probably about midnight or just after and as usualy had a wee look up, the night sky was really smart, the sky was a wee bit hazy but it looked like there was a big circle all around the moon, sort of like if the moon had exploded and sent shockwaves out and all the clouds had been pushed away from the moon, there were still some low lying clouds passing by but it looked totally amazing ...the moon with a huge circle around it ......did anyone else see this ?
anyway the photos I took didnt turn out just using the camera so I got the telescope out 
clear skies tonight again so going out to try take some more photos and see if I can stop the lense from glaring and stuff
wooly socks at the ready!!!!

Hey m8 I think you were spot on there ...took more pics and they seemed to be a lot clearer LOL probably due to haze 
apart from running out of memory space ...had to sit and copy images from camera onto PC, then delete from the camera ...I went out and took more ...WOW!!!! but then the battery ran out  got about another 30 photos probably about 10 half decent ones.
Couldnt seem to get any with the barlow lense thingy, nor with the 4 and 12 but the 20 lense was ok
